Cancer Background
In September of 1995, my boss's wife was diagnosed with cancer. The doctors put her on chemotherapy; she died in April, 1996.
In June, 1996, my uncle was diagnosed with liver cancer and he died in August, 1996.
In June, 1996, my neighbor was diagnosed with cancer and doing chemotherapy. She died in August, 1996.
In September, 1996, my husband's best friend was diagnosed with cancer and was only given a few months to live. He was taking one herb and continued with chemotherapy. He died in December, 1996.
Cancer Research
Through all of these events, I prayed and searched for information on natural alternatives to cancer. I knew there had to be other choices. I knew if I were to ever have cancer, I would want to know what my options were, as well as all of the facts that go along with them. Just as important, I wanted to know what the survival rate was for each alternative.
Cancer Analyzed
In September, 1999, I began to experience severe abdominal pain. My family doctor checked my cancer blood level through a blood test called the CA-125 blood test and ordered a pelvic ultrasound. The normal cancer count for the CA-125 blood test is 0 to 35. My test results were 164, which were very high. My family doctor immediately sent me to an OBGYN.
In October, 1999, the OBGYN performed another pelvic ultra sound. She felt I needed a complete hysterectomy within the next two weeks. She made the statement, "Ovarian cancer is an ugly thing." I was faced with the very good possibility that I had ovarian cancer. Fortunately, I had done my homework and knew the alternatives. I had a wealth of information on how to slow down and/or even put the cancer into remission with nutrition.
I then scheduled an appointment with a second OBGYN but couldn't get the appointment until December, 1999.
At the same time I scheduled a second appointment for November, 1999 with a Medical Doctor who specialized in nutrition for a second opinion.
In November, 1999; when I went to the Nutritional Medical Doctor Specialist, he repeated the first test and performed a second research type test which he believed to be more accurate for detecting cancer. Unfortunately, the results again tested positive and He said I had cancer. He suggested working on building the immune system with nutrition first, then, if it was still necessary, to go ahead and have the hysterectomy.
In December, 1999 I went to the second OBGYN for a third opinion. This OBGYN concurred with the first OBGYN that I needed an immediate hysterectomy and possible chemotherapy. I expressed reluctance for having surgery and I had already gotten another opinion from a MD who specialized in nutrition. At this point in time the OBGYN expressed extreme concern for my life and said he would always be concerned about me.
DISCLAIMER: By law at this time a regular MD could not diagnose a person having cancer without having a biopsy. On the other hand the nutritional doctor was allowed to confirm that I had caner because it was considered research. The biopsy would consist of removing my ovary. After three opinions I was certain I had cancer and I did not want them cutting on me.
By this time I had already started to work on building my immune system through natural means instead of doing the traditional hysterectomy surgery, chemotherapy or radiation. Through the monitoring and coaching of the Nutritional Medial Doctor, I used many of the products of the Company I represent to work on cleansing and nourishing my body as well as starving the cancer. I chose this Company's products because I liked the scientific research that goes into each and every product, the quality, purity, integrity, human testing only, and because I had proven to myself that this Company's products really work.
Cancer Gone
In September of 1999 my CA-125 was 164. In December, 2001, the CA-125 is 6.1. The blood work showed 100% cancer free.
In July, 2002, the pelvic ultra sound showed the ovarian cysts decreased in size to almost normal and the blood work again tested 100% cancer free! Based on these test results, my doctor felt there was no need for a hysterectomy so I did not have a hysterectomy. I did not have to go through hysterectomy surgery, chemotherapy or radiation.
Through prayer, diet, exercise, and nutrition my cancer was put into remission. It is currently August, 2011 and I am still cancer free.

Thanks for your personal story. I do believe in the right nutritiion. My mother was very much into nutrition. She was hospitalized once and that was for shingles. From the age of eighty onwards, she did not see any doctor until she died at the age of 88 years old. She would write in her beautiful writing verses from the Bible and also from Vitamins books, one of which is called Vitamin Bible by Earl Mindel. She even presented the same book to her daughter-in-law. Her daughters also each have the book.
I think it is a miracle that she did not see any doctor at all. Thank God for that. She was a smart lady and won a prize for submitting the name for a new toothpaste in the whole of Malaysia. She was also the first person in our family to become a Christian when she vowed she would become a Christian if God healed her first son who was diagnosed with diptheria. My grandmother was the first Christian in the family. She brought a number of Indian members to pray for my brother who was healed and she kept her promise and became a Christian followed by our family members. My brother was 11 months old at that time.
Praise and thank the Lord for His mercy on the family. Now our family has 5 generations of Christians. Praise and thank the Lord for His mercy and grace in choosing the family to be Christians.

It is so important to be informed of alternatives to health conditions. It is important to go to your doctor and get a diagnosis and to get other doctors opinions. That way a person can make an informed decision on what to do.
It just pierces my heart when I hear someone has cancer. I hope my story could help encourage someone to explore the alternatives so they would be able to make an informed decision that might save their life and/or give them a better quality life.

Thanks for reading my story. Your mother must have been very wise and informed in nutrition. She must have acted upon her wisdom and did everything she could to stay healthy and keep her family healthy. Earl Mindel’s Vitamin Bible Book must have been a great source of health information to your mom.
She was also very blessed of God. Not many people now days can stay out of the hospital for as many years as your mother did. You are truly blessed to be in a family of five generations of Christians. May your circle be unbroken.
I hope my story will encourage people to become informed on how to maintain their health and on finding alternatives for health concerns that come along.

Hi Barbie, This story has so many highs and lows and im so happy to hear you are free of this disease! I am personaly experincing some of the symptoms you mentioend and have had quite a lot of tests and has a CT scan dayb4 yesterday and i never even thought of it being cancer! it cannot happen to me! which i know we all say! Thanks for reading. I hope my cancer free story has been helpful. In 1997 my doctor told me I had ovarian cysts, but at that time he didn't seemed concerned.
All my life I have had excruciatingly painful menstrual cycles. I passed out several times from the pain. About a year prior to my having the CA-125 cancer blood test done, the pain of my monthly cycles became so bad that I would take 6 Tylenol, then a half hour later take another 6 Tylenol, and then a half hour after that I would take 6 more Tylenol and then I finally got some pain relief.
In the summer of 1999 I read an article where a woman was having severe abdominal pain. Her doctor had done some tests including a CA-125 blood test and found out she had ovarian cancer.
Because of the severe abdominal pain I was experiencing and knowing I had ovarian cysts, I decided it was time to make a Dr. appointment and have some tests done.
Please keep me informed of your test results. Eddie and I will keep you in prayer.

Barbie – thanks for sharing your story. I had hodgskyns disease back in the mid-70s. At that time I knew nothing about natural, herbal products so I had surgery and radiation therapy. I've been in remission ever since, but I know how powerful proper nutrition is.
Today I'm also with a company that sells great nutritional products and I can also attest to how much better I feel being on these products and also knowing that my body is getting the proper nutrition it needs every day.

Great story Barbie and great to see you beat this cancer. I have been there myself almost 5 years ago with stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Cancer is not a good thing but the products we both used are the thing that really gave us the edge to fight back. We were both blessed!

Thank you Barbie for the excellent Hub. I am so happy for you and thankful that you didn't give up. My father recently passed with cancer and as his was very far on we continued to try many things. But there was one in his stage that also helped and the was acupuncture. It kept him off the huge doses of morphine. This way he was able to communicate with us. That was special to us. The drugs given are just horrible. I feel that nutrition or lack of gets us into some of these problems and nutrition and faith will get us out.

Pain is real. It is almost impossible to function when in excruciating pain. I think it was about two or three months after totally changing my eating habits and taking large amounts of natural food supplements that my pain finally totally stopped. Keep in touch. Eddie and I are continuing to keep you in prayer.

My 87 year old dad passed on Dec 28, 2006 of prostate cancer which had spread to the bone. I wasn’t aware of acupuncture to relieve that kind of pain. We were able to communicate with him up until the last three days when I had to give him the high doses of morphine. Nutrition and His faith in the Lord kept him around many years longer than we anticipated and we praise God for that extra time with dad.

He does work miracles. I understand how you felt. A dear friend of the family was diagnosed with liver cancer and died 6 months later. 2 weeks after she was diagnosed my father was diagnosed with liver cancer and died 9 months later. 2 weeks before his death I was facing possibly thyroid cancer. It wasn't but it was scary. Three months later my husband was thought to have colon cancer - thankfully wrong. At the same time one grandmother was discovered to have stomach cancer and another with lymphoma. It always seems to hit at one time.

It was hard to find my comments bcos of my change of avatar!
i have and live with severe pain for about 10 years now due to Ankylosing Spondylitis but this new pain is not just pain, its the worry that it could be something not associated with my A.S and the stress is killing me more than anything!
I have tried everything in the world thats been recommended to me from foods, medicines, alternative therapys and if i could have cured my problem with any one of these things then i would be rich! its a disease and it won long time ago although i did and have tried to fight it but i except and try to embrace it and thank the lord for this disease i have one,. I know there are many many other problems-illness-diseases i could have had!... my illness is not life threatening or contagious and is invisable!

It's great to see someone overcome the deadly, yes, Prayers can do wonders, but before that the most important thing is you got to believe that you will certainly come out of the disease, you had the strong will and decided to give a fight you won the race, God is always there for those who jump into action rather than simply pray. The cancer battle was intense. I knew I would have a better chance of survival and a better quality of life using quality nutrition instead of going along with the traditional treatment.
I was truly blessed to have God and Eddie holding my hand and walking with me through it. I hope others will be inspired to look into alternatives before a health challenge comes along.

Cancer is a monster and monsters can be battled and even put down with prayer, seeking and finding knowledge and using the available tools. I would hope to inspire others to check out nutritional alternatives and be prepared before the monster or other health challenges appear.

Great testimony, I admire your bravery. It is one thing to have faith that something will work for someone, its another thing altogether when that someone becomes you. To see the truth through all the lies, is a blessing. I myself have never faced cancer, but have lost several loved ones to it. My losses have lead me to seek the truth as well. The fact that there are more people making a living researching cures for cancer, than there are dying from it says to me that "medical science" has no intent of finding or supporting a cure. Could you imagine how much money would be lost if a cure got out. This to me says a lot about why real cures are not supported by the FDA and such. But It warms my heart to know that your story was one of victory. Isn't YAHWEH great!!! He shines a light on all darkness, and revealsthe truth to those who seek it. You are truly blessed, and a blessing to others. Buy the way, in your studies, did you find any truth to vitamin b17 found in apricot seeds and other places being very beneficial inbeating cancer. I highly recommend the book WORLD WITHOUT CANCER The Story Of Vitamin B17 by G. Edward Griffin.

Thanks for visiting and your kind words. Years ago I had a pre cancerous irregular shaped mole that reduced from the size of a quarter to the size of a dime after I changed my eathing habits for the better and started taking natural food supplements.
After that experience, God gave me a passion for helping myself and others have better health through good nutrition. When I found out I had cancer, I knew cancer could be slowed down and even put into remission through good nutriton. The Lord held my hand through the whole journey. This was in 1999 and now in 2009 I am still cancer free.
I think Dr. Francisco Contreras M.D. of Oasis of Hope Hospital In Tiajuana, Mexico, used B Latreal for his cancer patients many years ago. Dr. Contreras begins his program by praying for and with his patients, and he teaches them how to change their eating habits, and exercise ect. I think B Latreal is from apricot seeds.
I praise God for giving us so many natural ways to slow down and even reverse cancer.

I read your story and I am also happy you overcame cancer.
My moms friend had cancer and just by changing her diet she also became cancer free.
The trick is to eat as naturally as possible.Cut out meat,animal products and sugar.No Coffee or tea except herbal tea.Cancer feeds on these products.Cut them out from your diet and starve the cancer cells.
Apricot seeds have been eaten by the Huntza people for centuries.Not only are they cancer free but also disease free. My moms friend ate 21 of them a day.They have benzo aldihide and cyanide in them which only destroy the cancer cells and leave the healthy ones alone. Do not be bothered what the drug companies have to say.They cannot patent natural products so they have got the food and drug administration against them.
Veggie juices are very good especially carrot juice which has beta carotene.Vegetables have phyto chemicals. The Cabbage has the most phyto chemicals and Garlic is the most powerfull.
For herbal teas I recommend green tea which is rich and anti oxidants and also juniper tea.
Organic foods are also the best to use. Free of pesticides.
Try get clean water free of chemicals.Water cleanses your body and waste products.Drink at least 2 litres a day. Charcoal mixed with boiled flax seed and put in a piece of cloth placed on your stomach with clean wrap when you sleep drawes out the toxins.
Oxygen is good for destroying cancer as well as been placed in a decompression chamber at 2 atm.Equivelant of going 10 metres below the sea.It saturates your body with oxygen which enables your body to be in a anti cancer enviroment.

Thanks for sharing your personal testimony here. It is very encouraging. My husband bravely fought nasal-phalageal cancer for four years or so. He had a great team of doctors. However, chemo and radiation take everything out of one and then some.
I am glad you are well.What amazes me is how many people are struggling with cancer. We became part of a large cancer family. It is my prayer that more people will read your testimony and re-evaluate their choices.
